Variété itoigawa aux écailles fines bien vertes particulièrement vigoureuse et parfaitement adaptée à la culture en bonsaï, ne perd que très peu de feuillage en début d'été contrairement au juniperus chinensis type. Ecorce formée car ce sujet est âgé de plus de 40 ans issu de yamadori naturel. Aucunes fortes blessures de fils ni de tailles. Issu des pépinières de Maître Shiraichi san. Sujet original ! Shari patiné sur le tronc et jin de branches donnent un caractère très naturel a ce bonsaï. Bonsaï véritable avec jin et shari d'origine à ne pas confondre avec les tanuki.
